The DrHM app
This website, as an app: its own icon on your phone or computer, full screen, one tap to open. Because the app is the website, it is always the latest version. There is nothing to update.
On iPhone and iPad (Apple allows apps from websites only this way):
- Tap the Share button . In Safari it is at the bottom; if you see ⋯ there instead, tap ⋯ first, then Share. In Chrome it is at the top right.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen (if it is not in the list, tap View More). Keep Open as Web App on, then tap Add.
Still no Add to Home Screen? The page may have opened inside another app, such as WhatsApp, Gmail or Instagram. Open it in Safari first (the compass button, or Open in Safari in that app's menu), then try again.
In Safari, open the File menu and choose Add to Dock.
Tap the menu ⋮, then Install (or Add to Home screen).
Opera installs apps from its own menu: tap ⋮ beside the address bar, then Add to… and Home screen.
Firefox on a computer cannot install apps. Open this site in Chrome or Edge to install it, or bookmark it: it works the same.
Open your browser's menu (⋮ or …) and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. If you do not see it, the app may already be installed: look for DrHM with your apps.
You are using the app. It updates itself each time it opens with internet.
What works without internet
- Guides, calculators, trackers and evidence: you choose in Settings what stays on your device, in English and in a second language. In the installed app they are on until you turn them off.
- Blog posts from the last 6 months. Older posts are removed from the device and open when you are online.
- Books and trainers: only the ones you turn on.
- Videos need internet.
Tracker readings you add without internet are saved on the device and reach your account when you are back online.
Updates
Nothing to download or approve. Whenever the app opens with internet it shows the site as it is today, and what it keeps on your device updates itself in the background, downloading only what changed.
