Privacy
Calculators: every calculation runs in your browser. What you type is never sent to a server or stored. The only thing kept is the unit you last chose (for example inches or pounds), saved in your browser so the calculators open in it next time.
Language: when you choose a language in the language menu, only that choice is saved in your browser, so the site and the app keep showing you that language, also when you go back. A link someone sends you still opens in the language it was sent in.
Book reader: where you are in each book, your bookmarks, your highlights and the notes you write on them, your text size and your practice marks are saved in your browser. Nothing about your reading is sent to a server unless you sign in (below).
Copy for AI (book reader, off until you switch it on): the button copies a question, with the passage you chose, to your clipboard so you can paste it into an AI you use. Nothing is sent from this site, and nothing about it is stored here. AI answers can be wrong: check them.
The app and working without internet: what stays on your device to open without internet is your choice, in Settings: guides, calculators, trackers, evidence for doctors, blog posts from the last 6 months, and the books and trainers you turn on. In the installed app the light material is on until you turn it off; in a browser tab nothing is kept until you turn it on. You can remove everything in Settings, and a new installation of the app starts empty. These copies stay on your device: nothing about them is sent to a server.
Visitor statistics: the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Accounts (optional)
The trainers and the book reader work without an account: your answers and reading are then saved only in your browser. If you choose to sign in with Google, the site stores:
- your Google account ID, email address and name, to recognise you when you sign in again, and the address of your Google profile picture, to show it small in the book reader's top bar (the picture itself is loaded from Google when the page shows it, and is never copied to this site);
- your trainer answers (which recording, what you chose, whether it was right, and when) and your trainer settings, so your progress and review schedule follow you across devices;
- for each book you read: where you are in it, which sections you have read to the end, your bookmarks (with the few words of text where each was made), your highlights (the passage you highlighted, a few words around it so it can be found again if the book is updated, its colour) and any notes you typed on them, and your practice and review marks (which question, got it or missed it, and when), so your place and review schedule follow you across devices;
- a sign-in session for each device (a random token, kept only as a one-way hash, which expires after 180 days).
Nothing else is taken from your Google account: no contacts, no files, and no access to your Google account after you sign in. Your data is stored on Cloudflare's servers (Cloudflare D1), used only to run the trainers, the book reader and the trackers, never shared or sold, and never used for advertising.
Trackers (BP and blood sugar)
The trackers need you to sign in, because they keep your readings in your account. For each person you add (you, and adult family members who have agreed), the site stores:
- the name you give them, their month and year of birth, sex, and optionally height and three yes/no answers (known high BP, known diabetes, on medicines for either); for a family member, when you confirmed that they agreed;
- each reading you enter: blood pressure (with pulse, and whether at a clinic or at home or work), blood sugar (which test, lab or glucometer, the value), HbA1c, or weight; its date and time; and any note you add;
- the doctor share links you make: which person, what they include, when they stop working, and when each was last opened.
A copy is kept in your browser so the page opens quickly and works without a signal; signing out clears it.
Only you can see your readings, unless you make a share link. Anyone who has a share link can see that person's name, age, sex, height, the yes/no answers and the readings (with their notes) you chose to include, from the last year (older ones on request), until the link expires or you stop it. Their month of birth and your account details are never shown. Stop a link, or make a new one, from that person's page. Removing a person deletes their readings and stops their links.
Alerts: a very high or very low reading shows a short note on your own screen. It is never sent to anyone: no message, email or notification, and it is not shown on a share link.
Deleting it: on the Your account page (or any trainer's Progress page), Delete account permanently removes your account and all its progress, reading, tracker readings and share links straight away. Sign out (on that page, or from the picture at the top right of the book reader) also clears the progress, reading and tracker readings kept in that browser. You can also write to contact@drharshmaheshwari.com to ask what is stored about you or to have it deleted, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
